About Hidden Valley Resort

Hidden Valley Resort is a family-friendly ski resort in the Laurel Highlands region of Southwestern Pennsylvania. Hidden Valley is located 60 miles from Pittsburgh and is within 300 miles of Buffalo, NY, Charleston, WV, Baltimore, MD, and Philadelphia, PA. We are a year-round destination with activities for all ages. The resort offers many recreational amenities including skiing, snowboarding, a snow tubing park, a championship golf course, a sports club, retail, spa facilities and 20 miles of hiking and biking trails. The resort is also home to 1,200 single family homes, condominiums, and townhomes that are available for seasonal rent or permanent homeownership.

What's New This Season at Hidden Valley Resort

2012/2013 Improvements

Voyager Trail was widened to double its original width and snowmaking and lights have been added
Increased snowmaking pumping capacity to improve production
Snowmaking was added on Charger trail, creating additional reliable advanced skiing terrain.
Exterior and trim of the ski lodge was completely repainted.
New seat pads on the Avalanche lift were installed.
A line of high performance ski rental equipment was added to the rental shop.
Additional adult & junior snowboard boots & ski poles, junior snowboard bindings & junior skis & ski bindings were purchased for the rental shop.
Select areas of the ski lodge & restrooms were updated with new flooring and/or carpeting & fresh paint.
Several rooms & suites in the Four Seasons Lodges received bathroom updates & furnishing upgrades.
Tracker Tow was improved to adjust the height for easier use.
Expanded parking at the Sports Club.
