About Powder Mountain
Powder Mountain has been rated in the top 3 for snow quality and #1 for value by SKI Magazine Readers Survey for the past 4 years. With 7,000 skiable acres and 500 inches of snow annually, no wonder Powder Mountain is known as the place for untracked powder in Utah. Half of the resort is served by lifts and has great groomed cruisers. The remainder is ungroomed paradise. Ski or board the 1200 acres of Powder Country and let the bus return you to the slopes. For an additional $15, try snowcat skiing to access the chutes and bowls in the 800 acres of Lightning Ridge. Even on a busy day, there is only 1 skier/boarder per 2 acres at Powder. No glitz and glamor at Powder Mountain - just great skiing and a laid back, friendly ambiance. Powder Mountain is the only ski area in the state that does not make snow, offering customers 100% natural snow. Powder Mountain offers slopeside lodging and four mountain restaurants. Located 55 miles North of Salt Lake. 19 miles from Ogden.Skiing and Snowboarding at Powder Mountain
