Founded in 1939, Monarch Mountain is Colorado’s second oldest ski area. Known for abundant all natural snow (350 in.), and friendly hospitality, Monarch is a great place for family’s and rippers alike. Monarch has a small town atmosphere with big time terrain. “Lose the crowds, not your friends”. Monarch Mountain is also known for light dry powder days.
