Copper Mountain Resort – "Turkey Day 2006"
Skied the last two days at Copper Mountain in Summit County Colorado. Each day the terrain and snow was plentiful for November. A nice mix of groomers and bumps gave the us a full day of skiing. There were morning crowds at the American Flyer chair out of the base area. We found that skiing and riding off the Super B chair ensured virtually no or very small lift lines. Here we also found a more interesting mix of terrain and conditions that were not as hard and scratchy as the center of the mountain. Each day new runs were opened offering more diversity. It was fairly busy and we skied Wednesday and Thanksgiving Day before the holiday crowds.
