Fairmont Chateau Whistler – "Mountain Travel Symposium review"
Just had the chance to spend some time here for a trade show and conference. I did not stay in the hotel, but the conference facilities were excellent and the staff was courteous and helpful. This is a great location for a conference. The ski are access for Blackcomb is right out the door. One thing that was a pleasant surprise was it is a dog friendly property where guests can bring their dog as well. However the prices for cocktails in the hotel lounge were too expensive. Most of those in attendance that I spoke with said they would have spent more time in the lounge with prospective clients but went off property in the evening and cost was a big factor. The atmosphere, service and ambiance were quite good.
