Kirkwood Mountain Resort – "Kirkwood is Tahoe's Best"
Whenever I head to the Lake Tahoe area, I make sure to hit Kirkwood. With great terrain, a huge mountain, and a lot less people than other resorts closer to the lake, Kirkwood is the best value for the money. You'll have to drive a while to get there, but once you do, you don't wait as long for any of the lifts like you would at one closer to town. Definitely hit Kirkwood!
