The runs at Sierra Summit are steep, gentle, and everything in between. Beginners can start out in our NEW learning area serviced by a NEW easy-to-ride moving carpet. Then, move on to our famous Academy run that meanders 2.25 miles down the mountain. For those just starting, check out our Family Fun Zones with gentle rollers and small jumps, perfect for introducing kids and beginners to freestyle excitement. Intermediate skiers and riders will love the Westridge, five runs in descending order of user ability level serviced by the Lakeview Chair offering a breathtaking view of nearby Huntington Lake. The more advanced will enjoy our groomed cruisers, open bowls, and steep faces as well as our terrain parks that offer some of the best freestyle terrain in Central California with step-downs, tables, hips and spines as well as a variety of jibs including new custom-made rails and boxes.
Sierra Summit is one of the closest winter resorts to almost anywhere in Central California located in the Sierra National Forest at Huntington Lake, just 65 miles northeast of Fresno. This scenic resort offers terrain to challenge all ability levels of both skiers and riders, including three terrain parks and a halfpipe. Seven chairlifts and four surface lifts service over 430 acres, 45 runs, and a vertical drop of 1679 feet. The resort offers on-site lodging, a full rental department, Snowsport School and terrain to suit all ability levels of both skiers and riders. Sierra Summit is one of the best values in winter fun.
