Located just 12 miles north of Brainerd, Minnesota, over looking beautiful Gull Lake, you will find a family downhill ski destination known as Ski Gull. In 1962, Ski Gull began its purpose to improve and promote civic and community welfare in our area through development of winter recreational facilities and activities. Over the years, Ski Gull has benefited our communities in a way no other organization can by providing positive outdoor recreational opportunities for our area youth - particularly the experiences of downhill skiing. Ski Gull has taught more than 16,000 6th grade students from 14 different area school how to ski.
Ski gull is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community facility that is consists of a volunteer Board of Directors, a small year-round staff, many seasonal staff members, and many, many generous volunteers and contributors. Through individual donations, attendance at fundraisers, donated goods, seasonal memberships, and volunteer labor, we have been helped in so many ways to provide such a valuable service to our communities.
