Tamarack Resort – "Skiing Tamarack Resort In Idaho's Payette River Region"
Recently had the oppportunity to ski Tamarack Resort again and was pleasantly pleased wiht how much exciting and enjoyable terrain was now available. I skied the resort in the winter of 2006 as they were just opening and this winter season got back in February 2008 and was impressed wiht how far the mountain and resort has progressed. It is a big mountain with lots of terrain. Long rolling cruisers mixed with terrific gladed runds makes the ski area a delight. The views of Cascade Lake at the bottom are nothing less than spectacular. The Village is getting close to finished and once completed will make Tamarack a must visit ski and snowboard area for any skier and snowboarder looking for the next great ski resort. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food on mountain is some of the best I have seen. I need to get back and sample more of the skiing and in the summer for the mountain biking and great water activities.
