Mountain Sports Club member benefits now include Ski Salt Lake Super Pass - Snowbird, Alta, Solitude and Brighton Lift Tickets. These are discounted pre-purchased lift tickets through our travel desk.

Brighton is possibly the only mountain where families can ride the same lift up and still access all types of terrain. For the more adventurous expert skiers and snowboarders, Brighton's lifts, via our open boundary policy, provide virtually unlimited access to some of the best back-country terrain in Utah. Brighton offers more night terrain than any other Utah resort. Night skiing is offered at Brighton from mid-December to mid-April. From 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Monday through Saturday, visitors can enjoy skiing or snowboarding on 20 lighted runs (over 200 acres). Night trails are serviced by the Explorer triple chair, the Crest Express and the Majestic fixed quad chair.

Brighton began in 1936 with a 'skier tow' built out of 1/2 inch wire rope and an old elevator drum. In 1946, in competition with Jensen/ Doyle, a single chairlift was built on the Mt. Millicent side of Brighton. In 1955, Jensen/Doyle built a double chair, the Majestic Lift, which was the first double chair in the intermountain region. The success of the double chair was so overwhelming, a second double chair lift (the Mary Lift) was built in 1958. In 1963, Jensen/Doyle purchased the single chair on Millicent and two more lifts were added by the partnership. In 1991, Brighton built its first high-speed quad, the Crest Express. In 2007 Brighton added the Milly Express, a $4.2 million detachable quad making Brighton unique in that 100% of its terrain will be accessible from high speed lifts!
