One thing not lacking at Brundage is scenery. You can see the Salmon River Mountains, Payette Lakes, Oregon's Eagle Cap Wilderness, and the Seven Devils towering over Hells Canyon, the deepest gorge in America at the 7,640-foot summit. In addition to all the skiing and riding offered on the mountain, snowcat tours are available. Home base to the mountain is the charming town of McCall, going straight north from Boise.
Brundage Mountain is installing two new chairlifts, The Bear Chair and Lakeview Lift, and opening 160 acres of new terrain for the 07/08 season. Four new groomed runs were cut in Lakeview Bowl, but much of the terrain will be left as untouched, unspoiled powder fields.
