About Great Glen Trails

Our trail system consists of 40 km (25 miles) of trails and is surrounded by the unsurpassed beauty of Mt. Washington and the White Mountains. Rolling carriage roads and challenging single track through our woods makes Great Glen Trails a wonderful place to bike, run and walk during spring, summer and fall. All our trails are clearly marked and can provide you and your family with a fun day of exploration.

In winter, the cross country skiing and snowshoeing is absolutely glorious. Our trail system of easy and rolling terrain allows skiers of all abilities to find the right level of activity, challenge, and fun. The trails are groomed with both double tracks and a skating lane and run through the forests at the base of Mt. Washington. A yurt with a wood stove and a heated log cabin are great places to stop, rest, and take in the fabulous views.
